Hey Eve

Did you know that you have been created for a very specific purpose, and as a result a war has been declared on you? That war was declared in the Garden of Eden just before Adam and Eve were kicked out. Why? Because you are a powerful tool in the hand of a Holy God. You don’t believe me? Okay, the let’s go back to the beginning.
When Adam and Eve sinned, or as most people prefer to say, when Eve was deceived and encourage Adam to join her in eating the fruit from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the enemy knew how powerful you could be. So he designed a perfect plan to get you off track, away from the plan that God had for you when He formed Eve out of the rib of Adam, and breathed life into her. Even though it looks like the attack was against Eve, it was actually against you too.
After eating the forbidden fruit, they tried to cover themselves with fig leaves and hide from God, but God already knew what they had done. This is what God said to them before putting them out of the Garden.
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
“Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
16 To the woman he said,
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken;
for dust you are and to dust you will return.”
I find it very interesting that God spoke to the serpent first. I probably would have spoken to Adam first, since he was given the instruction about the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Right there God declared a war between Eve and her offspring and the serpent.
Verse 15 says, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. Enmity is a feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity; antagonism. Another definition is an intense hostility and comes from the same Latin root as enemy, and means the state of being an enemy. So, before God addresses Adam and Eve, He declares war. The war started there, and has been raging down through the ages right up until today. The war is still raging, and the enemy’s plan is to get rid of every women by any means. That includes you, your daughters, your granddaughters, your great-granddaughters, your sisters, your mother, your nieces; every women on earth.

Why did God choose Eve to fight this war? I think it is because we know how to fight, even though many a woman will avoid a fight at all costs, but she will go ballistic if anyone dares to touch any of loved ones, and in this war, that is what is at stake. The families of the world are at stake. Why? Because we were all created in the image of God and the enemy hates us.
So my question to you is, “What are you going to do about this? Are you going to sit around waiting for someone else to fight on your behalf, or are you going to enlist and join the fight? The truth is, we need you. We really do.
